Second on our Senior Spotlight leading up to Senior Day (Sunday) is Jordan Howell.
Jordan. Jordan Howell comes from Auburn, Alabama where he attended Auburn High School and Bob Jones High School. Jordan his first two seasons of prep basketball at Auburn High School in Auburn, Alabama. He then transferred to Bob Jones High School. Jordan led them to a 30-6 senior season and in 2003 to the championship game of the 2003 Alabama Class 6A state tournament. Howell averaged 17.5 points and 47% from behind the arc as a senior. He shot better than 45 percent from 3-point range during both of his seasons playing for the Patriots and earned all-state honors as a junior. Jordan then joined the orange and white where he has excelled on and off the court. Jordan has been named to the Southeastern Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll every year he's been with the Vols. Jordan has had a few season of injuries which have affected the numbers he's put up, but he knows his role and will do the work. He's averaged 5.0 points per game and 2.3 assists per game this year hitting 38 3-point baskets. Howell had a very special individual Senior Night against his hometown team of Auburn. Jordan was featured singing "Let's Get It On" on the big screen while highlights of his career played. (Video Below) Jordan's season high of 17 points came against La Lafayette in which he was 5 of 8 from three point land. Jordan also played big last game against Florida, although the numbers aren't stunning. where he came up with a big shot. Congratulations on a great career Jordan and your contribution to the Vols is much appreciated.
