Congratulations BasketVols

Possibly the worst played game of the year came at the worst time for the Vols, who were playing in their second straight Sweet 16. The Vols point guard play was bad all night, Chris Lofton wasn't on, and Wayne and Tyler forced a few unwarranted shots. However, with this season-ending loss comes the look back on the season. The Vols' 31 wins were the most in school history. Tennessee pulled in their first SEC Regular Season Championship in 41 years. The Vols beat, at the time number one, Memphis and had their own ride at the top for a week. The Vols beat 12 NCAA Tournament teams, including 4 of the Sweet Sixteen teams. I cannot express my thanks to Chris Lofton, Jajuan Smith, and Jordan Howell who took this team under their wing and achieved greatness. Tyler Smith, if you go to the NBA, congratulations on a fantastic year, you've made us all proud. To: Ramar Smith, Duke Crews, Wayne Chism, Brian Williams, Ryan Childress, JP Prince, and Josh Tabb; continue to work over this offseason and bring the team back to the Sweet Sixteen with revenge in your eyes. The Vols will add redshirt freshman Cameron Tatum, who can hit from deep and beat you to the basket. What a great season Vols, you've made us proud.
