We play a little basketball here at Tennessee. When I say a little, I mean a lot. We aren't just the top dog in the SEC, but now the Vols are number two in the nation in both the AP and ESPN/USA Today Polls. Not to mention, the #1 RPI rating the Vols have kept held down for weeks. This is a new high for a university that before was known as a football only school. The Vols have a meeting with Auburn this Wednesday that should be just a bump before the game of the year for the Vols. Next Saturday is a day all Vol fans should huddle around the TV screen with their orange on and cheer for the Vols as they go into Memphis for a battle at not only statewide dominance, but nationwide dominance. If the Vols come out of the Forum with a win Saturday night, come Monday they will be looking at a #1 rank in the AP,ESPN, and RPI.
So Vol fans, give it for the coaches: Bruce Pearl, Tony Jones, Steve Forbes, and Jason Shay.
