Vols Shine in Senior Bowl Victory

A replacement. That is how Erik Ainge came into the Senior Bowl on Saturday. When Louisville quarterback Brian Brohm skipped the game, Erik Ainge was called upon to replace him. He decided he wouldn't make light of the opportunity. Ainge took over on his own 14 with 2:48 left, and helped drive the South down the field for the game winning touchdown. Ironically, that touchdown came from Florida's Andre Caldwell, who received the end around from Ainge. "I'll remember handing the ball to a Gator to win for the rest of my life." Another Vol, Brad Cottam, who was out for a good portion of the season because of a broken arm did well for the South. Cottam caught a 6 yard touchdown from quarterback Andre Woodson. Cottam has been pretty impressive lately, after a touchdown in the Outback Bowl as well. He is expected to be a fairly high draft pick and a great tight end for the NFL. The South won the game 17-16. Ainge was seen talking to Redskins and Chiefs scouts throughout the week.

Should increase both of their draft stocks. Way to go Ainge/Cottam
